David and I paid another visit to Zengő. As far as I can remember, I’d never been here to watch the sunrise before. I was curious to see what the sunrise looked like from here, toward the TV tower. That didn’t turn out—to be precise, there was no point in taking a photo in that direction. The fog had crept up too high. So the TV tower wasn’t visible. Instead, however, we witnessed an interesting atmospheric phenomenon. The Brocken spectre. In the first photo, the shadow of the lookout tower is visible on the thick fog, surrounded by rainbow-like rings of light, just as it is in this case. In the other photos, due to the drone’s position, the shadow isn’t visible, but the colorful halo is.
