Panolapse
After the previous winter, I was once again invited to photograph from the top of the Iparkamara building. My original plan was to set up the tripod and create panoramas every 10 minutes using two different lenses: one for a broader view of the city and another to highlight a specific part. I started with this concept, but the sunset was so stunning that I quickly decided to start a timelapse with the second camera.
It wasn’t easy. I only have one tripod, and the panorama definitely needed to be shot with that. So, I ended up placing the camera on the roughly 30 cm wide edge of the building’s roof, hoping it wouldn’t shift—and it worked. It was amusing because I had to keep an eye on both the panoramas and manually track the sunset for the timelapse. In the end, I managed to pull it off.
Here is the series of panorama photos:
I also got a few separate shots of the Székesegyház:
I also got a few shots from the timelapse, but those will be featured in a video sometime 🙂 I just need to get around to finishing it…
That’s it. Thank you for the opportunity to go up and take photos!
