Sunrise with sunflowers

I found this place during an earlier scouting trip. I wanted the plants on the hillside to blend into one large yellow surface due to the slope, when viewed from the right angle. I set a very early alarm. I arrived before sunrise and was able to take a few photos.

Slowly, the sun began to rise, illuminating the storm clouds as they passed.

During the day, I continued exploring and found more beautiful, wide fields along the way.

Besides sunflowers, I was also looking for bales as a subject. Eventually, I found the perfect location where both were right next to each other. I’ll share that material in the upcoming parts.
