Seasons, change - Part 7 - Kovácsszénája

I embarked on a more serious project: to show the changes of the four seasons. The drone has the ability to return to roughly the same point with GPS accuracy (within a few meters). From this came the idea that I just need to go out a few times to the same location and make one photo in each of the four seasons. I looked around the area a bit, trying to imagine where the landscape might look good if its changes spanned such a wide spectrum. I actually started at several places so that I’d have a good selection at the end. Here is the seventh group from this project. From left to right, top to bottom: spring, summer, autumn, winter.

As I began, I knew it would be useful to go at roughly the same time of day, at most locations, the photos were taken either after sunrise or before sunset so that the light would be more optimal. Fortunately, very early on I also came up with the idea that since I was doing the project, I didn’t necessarily have to stop at just four photos. The number of visits and the visibility of the changes vary by location. At the Kovácsszénája pond, I liked both the 2×2 and 3×3 arrangements. From the top left is spring, and at the 4th or in the 9-photo set is winter. I particularly like that due to the intense heat, the change becomes even more visible in the still water in summer because of strong algal growth.

I’m also posting the 9 states separately.
