Watching the weather and the webcam images on a late summer day, I felt I just had to give the approaching storm nearby a try. And I’m very glad I did. Earlier, that same storm had already passed through the area around Herman Ottó Lake, leaving the mist lingering low above the water.
Rising a bit higher with the drone, the colors of the approaching sunset and the rain visible a little further off already hinted that this would be beautiful.
I waited patiently for the magic, and it happened. In the colorful light of the sunset, there were patches of mist above the lake and two storm fronts rolling in in the background. It was absolutely stunning!
