Sunrise in Pécs - Part 1
Attila wanted to record videos with a drone in the city center for his project. He asked me to handle the operation. He arranged a temporary airspace permit for it (A3841/25). Together with Gergő, we discussed the concept and the best way to carry it out. Since the heart of the city center is usually crowded, we scheduled the flight for sunrise. The temporary airspace is valid for one week.
Sunrise is optimal not only because of the lighting conditions but also because there are no pedestrians around at that time. This makes the operation safer, and it also allows the city – nearly empty – to reveal a different side of itself. While recording the videos, I also took photos, of course. I’ll be showing some of those. To begin with, here are the panoramas. Most of these were taken above Széchenyi Square, over the Dzsámi, the Holy Trinity statue, and the City Hall building. There is also one shot from Kossuth Square.
I really like Tiny Planet (little planet panorama) photos, so I made a few of those as well.
In the next part, I’ll show you some of the landmarks of the city center in more detail.
