Trip Part 2 - Napszentély lookout, storm
After importing a fried hake into my system in Orfű, I headed to the nearby village of Magyarhertelend. Just outside the village, on a hill, stands the Napszentély (Sunsanctuary) lookout tower, which was struck by lightning nearly ten years ago and has since been closed off due to safety concerns. The idea was simple: I wanted to capture both the tower and the Hertelend church in a single shot, a perspective I hadn’t seen before.
Outside the village, I found the right angle and location, and used the drone’s telephoto camera to take the shots. Nothing spectacular came out of it, honestly. But it turns out the trip was still worth it, a storm was approaching from the other direction, and the moving curtain of rain, set against the spring landscape, became a perfect subject. All in all, it turned out to be a successful little trip.
